St Nicholas Hospice Care
St Nicholas Hospice Care supports local people and their families who are living with terminal and life threatening conditions.
The charity was started in 1984 and last year celebrated its 25th anniversary. An estimated 50,000 people have been cared for by the organisation since it opened. The support of the local community is essential to the continued excellence of the Hospice's work and to allow them to provide their services completely free. It costs £10,000 a day for the Hospice to offer the range of services to those that need them. Services include: Inpatient care, Community Hospice support, bereavement support, Day Hospice clinics and spiritual support. The Hospice is there for people when they need it most.
